We booked for Saturday lunch on an overnight trip. We had misgivings upon driving up since it is not much to look at from the outside however the interior is nicely appointed and comfortable. Our waiter greeted us promptly and was helpful with descriptions and suggestions; attentive but did not hover. He let me taste the spicy Margarita which I decided against in favor of the "Basil 8" which I recommend highly (daughter described it as a "garden in your mouth"). Our food came out quickly (we got there just before the lunch rush), at the right temperature, and the portions were generous to very generous. The Lobster Roll (comes with one side) had plenty of lobster meat and was served with both drawn butter and remoulade sauce. I know Lobster Roll fixings vary from region to region; I will ask for lettuce next time. The Shrimp and Grits was excellent; shrimp were XL.The Hush Puppies were good but nothing special. I recommend springing for the Crush Puppies (have crab in them) but you may want to ask for remoulade sauce since it comes with a spiced honey (teriyaki?) sauce that we thought went better with the shrimp. The fried shrimp appetizer was above average; comes with a chili mango sauce. The Rainbow Trout was top notch (comes with two sides) and huge! We had a very pleasant experience and plan to return.

Loved the food. Wouldn’t do my drink again. Sat outside and the vibe was nice. Overall enjoyed my experience and would go again.

Shrimp egg rolls, crushpuppies, rainbow trout with Caribbean rice and Smokey Caesar salad and lobster roll with fries and Brussels all delicious. Service was excellent, our waiter as well as a host and manager came over to check in on us to make sure we had what we needed and made sure our glasses were never empty. We will definitely be back!

Crushpuppies are an absolute must try!! Trout was just fine. Crab and shrimp dip was good

I ordered grilled scallops and they were delicious! My husband ordered salmon and loved it. Brussel sprouts and cheese grits were among the sides we ordered and they were superb. He ordered an Old Fashion and liked it; I had a specialty drink with tequila and grapefruit juice. It was YUM. Wonderful service along with light (not loud) conversational ambience. It was our first visit and we will go back!

Our very tall waiter was great. The service was spot on. We always enjoy the food we get at tkb. The quality is consistent. We come here about once a month and always look forward to it. The only small wish is that the music was a little softer in the main room.
