Great place for a lunch with friends - lunch deal and mini dessert with a hot drink was perfect and just the right size.All staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you. We will come again!

Beautiful Sunday roast beef, wonderful staff, plentiful, few more crackers on the cheese board, highly recommend

The food let us down. The roast chicken was extremely dry, and our meal was served at 12.30 so not late in the day. It was also missing the pigs in blankets. Vegetables were undercooked and luke warm. The staff did credit us a glass of wine but due to the lack of food quality we would not go to the Bells again.

Usually eat at a different pub whilst visiting family but decided to try here for a change and I’m so glad we did!! The pub was busy and it appeared only one girl was working, however we ordered our drinks at the bar and were then given the menus which had plenty of choice, the food we had was amazing, mum and dad said they were the best steaks they had ever had and all 4 of us really enjoyed our meals, desserts were lovely too, will definitely return again. If your in the area don’t miss out on a visit you won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous Sunday Roast served with a nice selection of vegetables. Would recommend the vegetarian option, it was delicious. And the desserts too ;) Lovely relaxed Sunday vive with friendly attentive staff. Would definitely recommend.

We had a meal for four. The white wine we chose was out of stock. The Calamari and the Shepherds pie tasted salty. The pie was great but the trout was overcooked. The beer was great. The waitress made a mistake on the bill. However the ambience and noise levels were excellent. I have had meals here before and they were excellent so I was a tad disappointed.

Generally an ok evening, the food was ok and so was the service, unfortunately there was no COLD white wine. These problems happen but no contingency plans had been put into place, therefore white wine was un acceptably WARM !!!! It was very quiet, there were only two other people in the restaurant so no atmosphere. Having used the pub for many years under it’s previous management we were very disappointed and would not recommend it or use it again for food.
