The Bell Inn has always been an important part of Kersey– a hub for the community throughout the years. More than that, however, we’re a destination pub, too. People travel from far and wide to eat and drink at our establishment, and we take pride in welcoming one and all and we are also dog friendly. Located in the historic village of Kersey two miles north of Hadleigh, The Bell Inn is the perfect place to drop into whilst taking in its picturesque surroundings and lovely country walks. We’ve ample parking space to accommodate your trip and our home-cooked meals are bound to impress yourself and your guests.

Had the best roast dinner I’ve ever had at the Bell! Staff and service was amazing, such a lovely environment and everyone was so great with my son!

Lighting way too bright in the dining room. Waiting staff v inexperienced, scruffy and sadly no supervision. Food ok but spoilt by poor service it was luke warm , the venison was over cooked and a bland sauce. Liver was good. A disappointing meal/ experience

Lovely pub. Music playing that we liked but quietly so that we could talk. Attentive and eficient service. Wide selection of gluten free options which were very much appreciated.

Great place and people really friendly. Soup bowl was huge! Fish batter was awesome, maybe too many fries but overall fantastic.

Wonderful setting, pub full of character and charm. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food...superb, what a find!! Hang on to this chef please.

Four friends were dining so experienced a range of dishes over three courses. Ham Hock starter was probably the best I have personally tasted, and it is a personal favourite on menus so I have tasted many examples. Mains of Chicken & Mushroom Pie, Fish & Chips, Liver and Steak were all perfectly cooked with good portions of vegetables. Excellent. Would recommend. Ambience of the dining room was good, though could possibly have been noisy if we had been seated in the bar area. Very friendly and efficient staff. Only slight downside was that some areas probably needed the paint sprucing up a bit, but this is a minor issue. SW

Pleasant and helpful service, cosy room and above all,great to be open on a Monday. Food was fresh and distinctive, maybe a tiny downwards notch on the price point would offer slightly better vfm?
