Having eaten at the Bell & Cross 5 or 6 times in the last 12 months I have to say we were very disappointed with the Sunday roast that we had yesterday, the Roast Beef was very poor quality and the serving was small and the Yorkshire puddings were cremated, not great value for money at all ! In all fairness the starters were to their normal high standard. We have had Sunday lunch here now 3 times and it’s our second visit in the last 10 days, we brought family with us for a special thank you and didn’t want to complain in front of them. I look forward to your response.

Good food with more than ample portions. Service is ok but not particularly attentive. We were served the wrong wine but we didn't notice till we got the bill. No big deal as it turned out but as I said not particularly attentive service.

Quite honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We both had the Sri Lankan duck curry and it was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere in the place is always lovely, and the staff are all very polite, and accommodating I couldn’t recommend it highly enough

Saturday lunch with friends. All food was excellent, from the twice baked souffle starters, a variety of mains and desserts. Will most definitely visit again.

The menu is small but the food is fantastic, didn't have much of a wait after ordering. Staff were friendly and efficient. We will be returning to try something else off the menu as everything sounded amazing.

First time at the Bell and Cross for a few years and was pleasantly surprised. The combination of excellent food from a very good menu and good service made for a pleasant dining experience. Will be back in the near future.

Fabulous food and great service. High quality gastro pub dining but super relaxed. Perfect in every way.

Menu was uninspiring we opted for tapas which a number had sold out by 8pm. Choice was poor. Service was average. We ordered bottles Of wine but not offered to try . Bar service was very good
