    Menu was uninspiring we opted for tapas which a number had sold out by 8pm. Choice was poor. Service was average. We ordered bottles Of wine but not offered to try . Bar service was very good

    Friday night fish and chips for 2 of us, the Murgheuze (sic) hotdog for me. All meals, as always excellent - including the mango cheesecake and cheeseboard for dessert. Would highly recommend.

    The food was really excellent. Soft shell crab, Hake and then a lovely dessert. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Odd choice of background music though, ACDC at one point but not excessively loud! Also, it would be good if they gave a dessert fork as well as a spoon. Overall a really lovely evening. Four of us dined, 3 courses and not one dish was below our expectation. We'll definitely return :)

    Last night’s meal was in my top ten. Delicious squid, lemon sole and affogato.

    Had a lovely meal celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was lovely and the staff serving us were absolutely great . x

    Lunch at the Bell & Cross, both started with the beetroot with honey goats cheese and pine nuts absolutely delicious, I had the cod with new potatoes samphire and white wine sauce as good as it sounds, my wife had the Thai fish yellow curry with rice which was completely devoured. Staff were very polite, efficient and made you feel very welcome … not our first visit and we try to make this a monthly venue

    Another mid week business meal - lovely Scollops, juicy steak and awesome pavlova- the staff are super friendly, great location - we’ll be back soon as 👍
