We reserved the Martha Stewart Experience in the Brown Room for an extra charge. We waited a half hour past our reservation time to get the table with the wing back chairs. Bonus was that we could take our time because there were no reservations after us. Unfortunately, our waiter Ben was in a hurry and rushed us to order, even after we said we would like to wait. The food came out very quickly, too. Too quickly. We wanted to enjoy the experience but we got the feeling that since the place was close to empty, they were ready to go home. The Brown Room was very nice, it was quiet because we were against the back wall, and at one point were the only people in the room. The bread basket was amazing, the food was very good, and I’m glad we went. But the experience could have been much better. One last note, the clear glass vases and cake platters on the shelves in the Brown Room were all visibly dusty, something I’m sure Martha herself would not be happy with.

It takes a bit to reconcile understated New England classic with glitzy Las Vegas strip walking by and into the restaurant. On the plate, this looks like delicate stuffed zucchini breaded and fried like they're po' boy fried oysters. It looks like all the cutlery fully laid at seating in anticipation for every course, but courses arriving with the speed of American casual dining urgency. Set your salad fork down and you'll get your entree before you're finished chewing that bite. The steak tartar is elegant and beautiful, but it's prepared with so much cornichon that it seems like sweet relish on a hamburger. The fillet was tasty, but I think it must have sat in a sous vide most of the day, so the meat was mealy. The bread basket is phenomenally good and worth ordering. Seriously, I'm not even a bread fiend like my husband, but this was by far the best thing on the table. The drinks are also brilliant understated twists on classic favorites.

If you go try the bread basket. Super tasty. Also, a seat by the kitchen gives great ambiance.

The food was exceptional, like our visit last year. The ambience however, on a Labor Day weekend, was noisy - not like the quiet and more intimate setting of a year ago. The tables in the side area we were seated in seemed too close for not overhearing everything people at the other tables were saying. As usual, service was impeccable.
