Arrive by boat to Stocking island (either on your private boat or the Peace and Plenty Shuttle) and enjoy some of the best Cuisine Exuma has to offer. Our chef has crafted a well balanced menu with a an Asian and Mediterranean flair that changes daily for dinner. We use some of the freshest available local ingredients as well as the highest quality products sourced from all over the world. The restaurant is perched on the highest point at Kahari resort overlooking the pristine blue and clear waters of the Turtle Lagoon.

I have eaten here several times recently and each time was greeted with friendly enthusiasm by Mary, who was our server. The Beacon has a relatively broad selection of beverages and cocktails, and features menu items not otherwise commonly found in Exuma. It's on the pricy side, so we haven't always felt confident bringing our charter guests here without advance consultation regarding budget, but based on our recent great experiences, we brought a group here last week and they couldn't stop talking about how delicious their meal was and how lovely their server was. Kudos to the kitchen staff and front of house, you provided a meal that was a cut above!

Loved the dark wood interior with nautical themed touches; food was delicious; and the service outstanding; music was very pleasant and volume sufficiently low for easy conversation. Really enjoyed our evening.

We had two wonderful dinners at The Beacon. Very cool setting with a beautiful wood interior overlooking a lovely harbor. Great food and service! The ladies who work there are so friendly!

We had 8 adults in our group, we arrived to a full restaurant with great energy. We had a table inside. It’s was ready right when we arrived. The food was amazing, the drinks took a long time but the server was also tending the bar. In the end we would 100% go back. Everyone loved the boat ride over and back! It was a great experience!

I had reservations. Took a long dinghy ride to get to the restaurant . Got to the restaurant and were turned away because they had a private event. Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to get to another place that we would have liked. The open table application should have been modified for the private event.

This is a lovely spot with a great view and friendly wait staff. Our appetizers were very tasty, but unfortunately, our fish and lobster dishes were very over-cooked and tough. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she smiled and apologized, but there was no other action. The lobster was so tough, that I left most of it on my plate, which was a very expensive waste. The desserts were delicious. So overall, this place has lots of promise, nice atmosphere and friendly people - just need to improve the way that the fish and lobster dishes are prepared.

good dinner, amazing place. The Italian chef is something "different" from the rest of the island and he's the real value of this place. Expensive

Hesitate to provide a less than favorable review, but this dining experience warrants its. While the restaurant itself is nice and the water shuttle great - the food falls short of its accolades. The charred romaine salad was more like braised, wet, soggy salad. The octopus appetizer was over cooked and under seasoned. The tuna poke was not edible - tuna improperly butchered and prepared (along bloodline) made it very fishy and unpalatable. And chocolate mousse dessert tasted as bad as it looked. Menu and previous reviews read very positive, however our experience was not.

Went for late lunch. Good food, both fish and chicken dishes. Waitress was excellent. Beautiful island to visit.
