Tickets to View Boston are required to access The Beacon. Guests are encouraged to book a prepaid experience, which includes a priority admission ticket. Please note, if you have booked an a la carte reservation, you will need to purchase an admission ticket to go up.
Please also be aware that the time of your reservation is the time to be at the restaurant, but you may enter View Boston at any point before the time of your reservation!

A great view, lunch was very good, we got two spirited beverages that were very good, great service. No complaints, well worth the price.

Private party created a curtain wall. Absolutely NO VIEW from dining room unless you were in one of five tables. Not worth the upcharge on the food. Poor design. The BAR should’ve been on the REAR WALL. This would’ve given you what they promised. Go to the view, skip the Beacon.

The food was very good for a restaurant associated with an experience venue. Our disappoint was the location of our table considering we paid for the experience and they put us across from the bar with a view of the sky when there were open tables with a view. Wha.t was the point of the reservation and the experience when we got a terrible seating location. We could have just walked in without a reservation. Our drinks never came until we were done with our appetizers but that was explained that there was an IT problem and we did get a free dessert so they made up for it. The menu is small but the selections were reasonable and varied enough so you should be able to find something for everyone. It was a fun trip about what you would expect for pricing for similar location. Worth a trip if you have kids but don’t expect that you will get the table location you paid for.

The service and food were both superb and a great way to cap the View Boston’s spectacular experience for our out-of-state guests. We would highly recommend dining at The Beacon! The only “complaint” would be our struggle to make a reservation for eight people. After multiple attempts (online, over the phone and via email), I finally made one for six while my husband made one for two and we hoped for the best. On the day of our visit I received a call…the restaurant had noted the common surnames and inquired about merging them into a single party, which they did. Other than that challenge, we were beyond satisfied.

We enjoyed a very nice late afternoon lunch in the bistro. We purchased one of the packages that gave us entry to View Boston and lunch. We chose the lunch package without an alcoholic beverage and it was just right. The food was good, I had the shaved steak sandwich. It was an interesting twist on a traditional shaved steak that was tasty and filling. The view was fantastic, of course, even on a dreary day. Our server was very nice, personable, and attentive. We were having a day out to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our server must have overheard our “cheers to 31 years” because they presented us with a delicious cookie dessert with a candle in it! I had not noted that it was our anniversary on the reservation anywhere. That was a very sweet gesture.
