We had booked months in advance and that proved to be wise as the restaurant was very busy. We were seated on arrival and our waitress gave us several minutes to chose our menu. Drinks were brought and our starters arrived shortly after. Everything is cooked and prepared to order, so we expected to have a short interval after the starters until the main meals arrived. Everything was hot and nicely presented. I had Monkfish which was served with spring onion mash and broccoli. My husband had a rib eye steak which came with fat chips. The food was well cooked and very tasty. The place was very busy throughout our visit but everyone seemed to be having a nice time and the hum of conversations added to the convivial atmosphere. We have been to this restaurant before and knew we would not be disappointed.

We had a lovely seat in front of a wall of windows that looked out on their beautiful beach. We had the sweetest waitress who was polite, friendly, and responsive to our requests. The fish was very fresh and well prepared. It was a great experience and highly recommend them.

Easy to book, fabulous harbour views, great service. The menu is not vast but all fresh fish, beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommend the chowder!

Unacceptably poor service. Left waiting after others were served. Eventually a different member of staff came over to say the delay was because our server hadn’t put through the order to the kitchen on her device. At no point did we get an apology. Left feeling upset, evening spoilt.

Totally top notch again. We tend to go to The Beach Restaurant whenever we’re in St Ives and are NEVER disappointed. The staff are lovely, the food is great and it’s such a relaxing, calm and friendly environment to enjoy a good meal. Highly recommend 😃
