Located in the heart of Islamorada at mile marker 81.6, the Morada Bay Keys Beach Café & Bar lays amidst a beautiful palm-lined beach, overlooking blue waters, with walking paths through tropical flowers. You’ll find inside and outside bars and dining areas, live unique entertainment, spectacular sunsets and a large child-friendly beach with cozy Adirondack chairs.

The Café is conceived to evoke the feel of a beach café where the Hawaiian and Californian surfers and sailboarders would relax after a day on the water. As such, its walls are adorned with surfboards, longboards, sail and kite boards, as well as many original 60’s surf posters.

The Café’s menu showcases the freshest in local seafood and produce, the fare is both innovative and eclectic. The Café’s bar and wine offerings are equally noteworthy. The Café is open for dining seven days a week from 11 AM to 10 PM.

Great place to watch the sunset. The watermelon salad was great. I am a nonseafood eater with an allergy so perfect if you are like me.

Second time dining here. Peaceful waterfront bayside sunsets. Pleasant staff all around. Will be back. Food is priced well and servings size are plentiful. Typical island fare with a nice vegetarian option or two.

We have been enjoying the Beach Club (formerly Morada Bay Beach Cafe) annually for decades and this year we noticed a real downturn both in the service and the quality of the food. The service was slow, including the bar service which took up to 20 minutes. I ordered grilled fish with rice and beans and a garden salad. The fish filet arrived by itself on a small plate. The rice and beans consisted of a large mound of white rice on a large plate with a small bowl of beans beside it. The salad was on a thrid pkate and consisted of very basic mixed lettuce with a few slices of cucumber and tomato. I don’t think I have ever been served such an unappetizing looking meal. Ever. Its a shame because the locale is wonderful, an iconic place for the sunset. But from now on, we will be getting our own drink from the bar and staying for the sunset before heading somewhere else for a decent meal.
