Entire experience exceeded our expectations. Very happy with this choice to dine at The Bazaar, having only 2 night’s in town. Our server Javonte did amazing job suggesting the best a la cart dishes, explained the menu and drinks pairing.

All the plates were delicious! The server did a great job explaining and making small talking regarding each dish. The oxtail crochets we so rich and amazing. Great spot we will be back.

We tried everything and it was all fantastic!! Servers were great and one of the best dinners I have had with family in some time.

While all of the staff was extremely friendly, I've been to other Jose Andrés restaurants for special occasions and this was disappointing. Nothing special except a candle.

The challenge with the 5-star rating system and the expectations surrounding it is that when you find a true 5-star experience, it feels as if you're cheapening that experience by only being able to give 5 stars. That is what rating The Bazaar feels like: it needs to be rated in an entirely different system for that rating to make sense, because very very few places in DC can be considered to be in the same category. By way of saying that if you have an opportunity to experience dinner at The Bazaar, sprint, don't run, to take advantage of it. Cocktails, service, presentation, flavor, temperature, wine pairings, and staff knowledge were all top-tier. Highly recommend the tasting menu for first-timers like me.

Dining solo, I sat at the bar and received very attentive service. Everything was unique and delicious. Another patron seated near me was so enthusiastic about the crab soup that he insisted on buying a serving for me! He was right—it was delicious, as was everything I tasted.
