Set in the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC, The Bazaar is the culmination of a 30-year dream for Chef José Andrés. Drawing inspiration from this iconic location, which first opened in 1899 and served as DC’s General Post Office until 1914, The Bazaar is a multi-level destination reinvented with avant-garde and Americana-inspired decor.

    Bazaar was outstanding, our server Kittie was AMAZING, fun, funny, witty, informative and a burst of delight. He made the evening even better and his food recommendations were spot on.

    Terrible service. Empty restaurant. Far too quiet. Uneven food. I eat out in DC approximately three nights per week. This was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in a long time. I could go into more detail, but it’s not even worth it. I’ve totally written this place off.

    Another excellent meal at The Bazaar! We enjoyed bringing a good friend visiting from Boston. He was properly impressed, starting with the Crab Louie Cone and throughout the delicious plates which were served. My personal favorites: Neptune Pillows, Eggplant Escalivida, and Pluma Iberico de Bellota. Our server 'Kitty' was exceptional for both his knowledge and style.

    This is such a special gem, close to the museums in DC. Our 2nd time & so wonderful. I think we tried everything!

    An absolute amazing dinner. We went off script and chose our own selections but did consult the sommelier for wine. One of the most amazing meals I've ever had.

    Most of items were delicious! BUT avoid the dreaded braised lamb(neck) & oysters! Wry reasonable price and we were all stuffed!

    Perhaps one of the best experiences we've ever had, from start to finish. Nicolas was a fantastic waiter and ordering off the tasting and pairing menu was perhaps the best decision of all time! Can't recommend this place enough! From the moment you walk into the Waldorf, your breath is taken away and the meal just kept the bar going higher.
