    This was our first time at this restaurant. The serving size was ample--but not huge. It is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food is outstanding--as is the service. Everyone was pleasant, but not obsequious. Our waiter explained the process thoroughly and was very careful to explore any dietary restrictions. Each server thoroughly explained the ingredients to every dish. The only negative is that it is a bit noisy as the location at one end of the Waldorf Astoria lobby is busy. I will try other restaurants by Jose Andres.

    The food was amazing, the service was okay. The waiter wasn’t good about refilling beverages and the food came out slowly.

    The food was creative and delicious overall. Service was solid but found got less attentive towards end of meal. No coffee or tea beverages offered and had to ask for check. This is a very expensive restaurant ... reward. A Manhattan drink was $30. We tried the tasting menu and it was way too much food and we had to do take out for the main dishes which really shouldn't occur. We overspent by indulging in that option. We would go back back order more wisely. Two people $500. Really?

    As expected, great food, especially the Spanish pork! The staff were exceptionally good. Helpful but not pushy. The surprise was how quiet it was. That might have been because we ate early on a Wednesday though.🙂 It's expensive but worth it.

    WHo am I to comment on a Jose Andres menu! I had the classical experience, with one dish after the other that brought me to heaven. Every dish was so artfully done, you could feel the love of making them, and the taste was extraodinary. I humbly and highly recommend for anyone with good taste buds!

    Every single dish that we had was unique and delicious. Probably our favorite dish was the beef cheeks. Anya was a very pleasant waitress, and seated us in a wonderful table with a beautiful view of the stunning lobby of the Waldorf Astoria.
