Our afternoon tea was fantastic overall and very good value. The ambience score wasn’t really your fault at all, there was just another couple being very loud and invading on other experiences for a couple of hours which was distracting to try and relax from. Low down chairs in the drawing room were uncomfortable for that amount of time but overall a great experience!

The food was absolutely delicious and the setting was peaceful. The sandwiches were particularly good. Our server was attentive and professional. It was overall a wonderful tea experience!

Lovely setting in a hidden away venue. The tea room was pleasant however I was facing a bland brown wall throughout and the other side of the room to the Windows which looked out onto the garden. Nice level of service so the tea did not feel rushed although the staff could have been a little more attentive.

The food was outstanding and at least 1* standard. Service was fantastic as usual and overall great value and experience. Having frequented the restaurant many times and worked in the kitchens (long time ago!) it always remains a special and memorable place 😊

The most delightful experience in Bath ! Truly worldwide level of cuisine ! Kids friendly ( very impressed!! ). New menu every month , so you can spoil yourself with some delicious discovering of a new flavours. We had 3 course meal and all 3 were 10 out of 10! Complements to the chef!

Have dined here many times over the years and have always been very satisfied, but unfortunately 'NOT' on this occasion! We were here to Celebrate our Wedding Anniversary with a pre-booked Champagne Afternoon tea. The service was very poor from start to finish and the food was very disappointing too, apart from the scones, which were lovely, when they eventually arrived, after having to ask a number times for them! No Champagne arrived until requested either, although pre-booked! Overall, the whole experience was not up to your usual standards, which was such a shame.
