The Barn Kitchen offers a refined take on rustic American cuisine. Executive Chef Jon Butler focuses on influences from the nearby Coachella Valley, and the Barn Kitchen brings small local farms and the unique aspects of the desert to classic American favorites. We aim to create simple, uncomplicated cuisine by showcasing fresh California ingredients. By creating a communal dining atmosphere, we invite all of our guests to make meaningful connections and savor each experience.

The Barn Kitchen is open daily for lunch from 11 am – 2 pm and dinner from 5pm – 9pm. The bar remains open until 11 pm every day for hotel guests, serving a selection of microbrews, wine, and spirits. In the evening, gather around the fire pit for star gazing and smores. Outside guests must reserve a table for lunch and dinner.

Lovely atmosphere, although we made a reservation for indoors and they told us we would have to sit at the bar. We sat outside instead, in the 90-degree heat. The flavors of the food were off. I can't imagine craving the food. Also, it was overpriced.

Parking was readily available in front of the hotel. The restaurant is in the middle of the property with pretty views of the pool and grounds. The server was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the smashed cucumber starter and the quinoa tabbouleh salad. Both were delicious!

What a lovely and intimate experience sitting outside. The food is exceptional, just don’t be in a hurry….

We’ve eaten here a few times but it was always at the communal table outside with the prefix menu. We decided to try it again and sat at the communal table inside since it was so hot outside. The food was great, very interesting flavors but the service while friendly was not very attentive.

Dessi and Jenn our servers are a total DELIGHT! Top shelf Service. Food is delish. Hamburger, chicken salad sandwich, market salad all a 10/10. Can’t wait to go back 😊

The service was the absolute worst service I’ve ever ever encountered. The food was mediocre, but the ambience is wonderful too too bad. They couldn’t get it all together to make it a magical setting.

We had a spectacular experience at The Barn Kitchen. What I loved most, beside the wonderful meal, was the slow relaxed pace of service. They have a very small kitchen and because of that food is prepared for one or two parties at a time. This gives you time to take in the beautiful hidden garden area where you are seated, and truly enjoy the experience. The food was outstanding and so delicious! We had the mole chicken and fresh carrot cavatelli pasta with mushrooms- so so good! The Barn Kitchen is a hidden gem!

Delicious food and lovely servers. Definitely recommend the market salad with salmon chicken mole, and the guac and chips. Nice wine list and selection of cocktails. Can’t wait to return!

Food and service were great, but there is not Air Conditioning (the AC split units are not sufficient) - had we known about the lack of AC we would have made a different choice on a hot September evening. Otherwise, great!
