This was our second visit and it was as great as the first one. Christina our server was informed, friendly, and agreeable to help us with dietary restrictions. The food quality was wonderful, we had the butternut squash soup, the poached cod ( outstanding piece of fish) and the vegan burger. The entire staff helps out so we were never left wanting anything. Price points are very fair for the dining experience. We will return.

We had a fantastic dinner at the Barn - the service was great, our server Jessie (sp) was awesome. Our table had the Bolognese and the Short ribs, both of which were outstanding. The one slight bummer was we ordered a Bolognese to go as well, but it turned out to be a burger, which we didn't discover until we were home. Otherwise, we were quite pleased with the evening.

The host(ess) was extremely rude. We drove 30 minutes to have a beautiful dinner at a beautiful space. Wait staff was OK, not like before. For the price and the hype, the host(ess)' arrogance was just the worst. Snobby for no good reason. For goodness sake, it is a gorgeous place surrounded by tranquil grounds. We eat all over the world and the attitude of the staff was disgraceful.

Lovely dining experience! Excellent cocktails, food, and service. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and quiet so it’s possible to have a conversation with dining companions. The bruschetta starter was very tasty as was the cod entree and pasta dish. Highly recommend The Barn Kitchen for dinner and breakfast!

First the bartender was excellent! She was attentive and quick. Very prompt and pleasant as she knew we were a bit grumpy from our hostess experience. So about that. The hostess was MIA - we waited 10 minutes because no one else could seat us. A wait person tried. We were very hungry. When hostess finally arrived - she was dour, unapologetic and informed us we would have to wait. Fortunately the super competent bartender made up for the rough start. Food was good and well paced.

I was looking was a nice place with great food to have dinner and I found it! Williamstown a doesn’t have much, other than it is a beautiful little college town and it has The Barn. Love love love. James was amazing!!! Definitely going to come back every time I visit my daughter at Williams College.

The food was exceptional. I had the Grilled Scottish Salmon which was very good although the broth was a bit too liquid and could have used a spoon for it. My partner had the Rib Eye Cap which looked and smelled wonderful. He said it was very tasty. Our drinks were very good too.
