The Barn is one of Block Island's best kept secrets. This unique dining venue features an open kitchen and a wood fired grill, which creates wonderful flavors that cannot be duplicated at home. As soon as you step into the Barn, you immediately feel welcomed. A combination of our culinary staff cooking right in front of you and the intimate ambiance creates a perfect evening. ** Reservations are highly recommended and credit cards may be taken to hold your time. A $100 charge will be incurred if a reservation is not canceled within 8 hours of your scheduled arrival time. This setting is designed for a quiet dining experience for adults and children above the age of 12 only.
Respectful dress required. **

Please be aware of booking counter top seating. Please know if you do make a "counter top" reservation, this will be at our Chef's Bar, which will be at bar stool height.

The Barn, especially in winter, is like visiting a friend’s home. Annie, working the very cosy bar as you enter, is there to welcome everyone, whether an islander, a weekender or a lucky newcomer just discovering the island..bound to meet someone, an old friend or a new one, food is season suitable and good..always a special or three, prepared by a trio of chefs in an open kitchen. Julie served us tonight..prompt, good at her job, and just chatty enough, she managed our meal perfectly.. A lovely evening

New Year’s Eve dinner was exquisite. Everything was perfect. We are still talking about how wonderful it was.

It was a delightful evening. The food and ambiance was perfect as always! Our waitress was fun and attentive. Cannot wait to go back!

Delicious. Best gnocchi dish and had the salmon the night before. The Barack and bleu martini is a must have. Love this place!

We had an amazing dinner in the newly enclosed patio. We always enjoy a night out at the Barn when we are vacationing on BI.

Food and atmosphere was excellent as always. Richard our waiter was excellent as were the other support staff. Perfect place to dine when on Block Island any time of year.
