We have a huge outdoor patio seating area with a water view from every seat in the house. The Beach House continues to offer the friendly service and menu favorites for 5 years now.
Indoor seating available all year round and our beach view bar also open all year round.
Delicious comfort food with a variety of dishes from our Beach bites - The Giant pretzel, Fish tacos and Philly rolls being some of the favorites.
Popular entrees including Fajitas, Miso Salmon, Mussels, and New York Strip Steak.

We were very disappointed with our meal here. There were five os us there for a birthday celebration. It wasn't overly crowded. We were seated immediately and our orders were taken promptly. We then waited over an HOUR for our meals which were mediocre at best. Three people ordered the lobster eggs benedict - they all came out cold and some of the eggs were well done and certainly not poached. The server was somewhat apologetic and told us he'd comp us a dessert. An ice cream brownie sundae was brought to the table AND included on our bill (18$). I spoke with the manager who did absolutely nothing. I'm very disappointed and frankly surprised. Their only attempt to rectify a bad situation was to offer us shots which we all declined as we were not partaking at this particular meal. I will not recommend.

Waitstaff was not attentive- they were on their phones and watching the football game. We had to flag them down twice. There were only three tables of ppl eating. The food was good overall.

Service was slow… food was okay. I really wish this location would make the food more of a priority. Often times we don’t choose this place because we know the food is “just okay.” I hope next year they will step it up and compete with the very good restaurants in rye..

The waiter was new so once we realized that then we completely understood what was happening. No worries. We’ll be back. We already know who we want to bring back with us next time.

The fries we a bit undercooked but I decided to just eat a few and leave it alone. I had the Ceasar wrap which was just ok, nothing special. I would go back because of the fabulous location and to give other menu items a try. Looking forward to it.

Our dinner at the Barley Beach House was awesome. The atmosphere was chill. We had a great view of the beach and sunset. At 9 pm Playland presented a fabulous show of fireworks! About the food: we had the muscle and little neck appetizer followed by tacos, lobster roll, and salmon. It was all delicious. We can't wait to go back!

Food was OK. We were served mussels and clams with many mussels which did not open. We also had the tuna sandwich, asked for the tuna to be very rare and it medium

This time was very good because it was not crowded they are short staffed and will not take guests even though they may be half full. Also they do not answer the phone so don’t bother leaving a message if you have to change a reservation try to do it online.
