The Bank is Bude’s resident cornish tapas bar set alongside the tranquil surroundings of the River Neet in North Cornwall.

We pride ourselves on our relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, providing the perfect accompaniment to food made for interaction and sharing. The atmosphere is often described as electric and welcoming to all who dine with us. The bank at bude is a lovely picturesque places to eat. The staff are helpful and the food was fantastic. Would recommend and would definitely go back again.

A hidden gem. Very quirky with super friendly and helpful staff. We sat in an outside booth, which was perfect for the two of us. Cocktails were amazing and the food was out of this world. Portions were large and the tastes of each tapas dish were unbelievable. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again when next in Bude!

Tapas menu. We ordered 5 dishes between us which was too many . However they were all delicious. The service was quick and done with a smile. The booths are quirky in so much they are almost like mini sheds! Will eat here again when back in Bude.

My wife and I had dined here once before in 2023, so ths was our return visit. We had pre-booked a "pod" and were taken straight there on arrival. Fine for 2; a bit "cosy" if there had been 4. We selected food on the sheets provided and ordered our drinks. The 2 starters (Jamon and Manchego cheese) came first and the other 3 hot tapas shortly afterward with the 4th one shortly afterwards and the batatas bravas. All of it was very good and the batatas was a large helping. Good value and good food. Only issue was that we were back out in an hour and 15 minutes. No-one rushed us, but once we had eaten and drunk, we headed off. Only black mark on the evening was discovering when we arrived home tat one of the other patrosn must have dragged hi.her car around the side wing of mine, with an estimate of about £800 to repair.

A fabulous meal but had to wait half an hour for our table which wasn’t easy as we had a 1 year old and a three month old baby . We had booked a table for 6.30pm but weren’t seated until 7pm. However the food was fantastic and enjoyed by all!

The menu was great, some lovely additions since last time we visited. Great seating outside as we had a large dog. Service was really friendly and food delivered really quickly. We will return and would highly recommend.

We came here twice on holiday and sat both times in the pod which was lovely and private. Food was brilliant with good portions. Service was fantastic, helpful with making choices , friendly and nothing too much trouble. The only negative is the chairs could be more comfortable. Will definitely be back next time we are in Bude.
