The Bank is Bude’s resident cornish tapas bar set alongside the tranquil surroundings of the River Neet in North Cornwall.

We pride ourselves on our relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, providing the perfect accompaniment to food made for interaction and sharing. A really enjoyable evening the atmosphere was buzzing with great food and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.

We’ve had a couple of good meals here, then a couple of not so good. We hadn’t been for a while and decided to give it another shot. Mostly it was okay, but my sea bass was slightly undercooked whilst the green beans that accompanied it were very overcooked. Ah well. My husband enjoyed his king prawns and salad. The Spanish olives were delicious as always as were the triple cooked chips.

We are very pleased to hear your husband enjoyed his tapas choices and that you enjoyed your starter and side dishes although very sorry to hear the Seabass was not quite up to our usual standard. Our chefs are 100% happy to cook a fresh portion for any of our guests who aren't completely satisfied with a dish so please do, if visiting in future and find something not to your liking, mention to one of our team who will get the dish refired for you immediately no problem at all or even swap for an entirely new choice if really not to your liking or what you expected. We do hope to see you again upon your next visit to Bude and to serve you an excellent meal! Huge thanks again :)

Very unique, resturant, with the flow of Spanish aura. Service was spectacular and the food was amazing. They really thought of everything, from ease of service to the little bowl to clean or nibbling fingers.

One criticism only ,otherwise it would be 5 stars- Loose the Americanism- As a female in a group of 2 females and one male I detested being called “you guys “-it seems to be creeping in everywhere and is so unnecessary. Otherwise superb.

The food was good and as described - albeit I feel it was not particularly hot. Service was excellent with friendly helpful staff A great place to eat

This was my second visit to The Bank. Friends from Berkshire came to visit and we took them here. They loved it and so did we. I highly recommend a visit. Great evening, fantastic staff, polite and efficient. Lovely food. Plenty to choose off of the menu. Good value for money. We will defiantly go back.
