The Bank is Bude’s resident cornish tapas bar set alongside the tranquil surroundings of the River Neet in North Cornwall.

We pride ourselves on our relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, providing the perfect accompaniment to food made for interaction and sharing. The atmosphere is often described as electric and welcoming to all who dine with us. Shocking service, very little availability of the menu and long waits. Staff was generally rude and couldn’t care less about being there. Only one toilet for the whole establishment with a queue and was filthy with no toilet roll. Generally very disappointed as had good expectations before hand!

Hi Darren, Many thanks for your recent visit although we are very sorry to hear you left disappointed. Our team pride themselves on their customer service so we are shocked to hear you felt any member of the team was rude or uncaring, we would very much like to investigate this if you would be happy to reach out to us directly and advise in a little more detail? Unfortunately, due to the close proximity of the nature reserve, one toilet is all that's permitted currently however, we are working closely with the local council to hopefully change this in the future. If your visit to the bathroom was in between a toilet check by our managers and another guest had left unsightly, we can only apologise for this and will look to increase our checks from hourly where possible. Thank you,

Beautiful food as always. Booked a pod for my daughters 21st, which was lovely and personal. Not the cheapest but food is always spot on. See you again in the summer x

2nd visit in the week. Yet again, the food and service was excellent. The Bank never disappoints. It’s always a pleasure to visit when we are in Bude

lovely restaurant,for tapas the portions are large!and plenty of choices,nice ambiance and great decor!evie our waitress to was very attentive,will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

4 of our group have been before. 2 were first time visitors. They were rather impressed with the food, the service. So much so they wanted to book again, so we are returning on 7/11 for a second visit before we return home. The food is amazing, the service is fabulous, a lovely setting and you aren’t rushed. As regular visitors to Bude, my wife and I eat here every time we come down. A trip to Bude isn’t complete without eating at The Bank

Wow, what a gem to find. Bad bit slightly expensive but in saying that this was the best tapas evening I have ever had so worth every penny. Glorious food in a special place that does not look from the outside as though it should serve this fantastic food. If in Bude book and visit here. You will not be disappointed
