The Bank is Bude’s resident cornish tapas bar set alongside the tranquil surroundings of the River Neet in North Cornwall.

We pride ourselves on our relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, providing the perfect accompaniment to food made for interaction and sharing. The atmosphere is often described as electric and welcoming to all who dine with us. Another lovely meal at Bank having previously been on a family holiday a couple of years ago. As before it was incredibly busy so you definitely need to book. There is a real range of seating with some feeling very ‘B list’ but we were at a good table and had a good experience. Staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable although it feels a bit more ‘business’ than warm and personal but maybe that’s due to it being so incredibly busy. Good food and drink. Lots of veggie and some decent vegan options too so all good

A wonderful suprise for a first visit. Great atmosphere, quirky surroundings but fantastic food. Advised by waitress 3 portions per person would be plenty and she was right. Looking forward to return in the future

First visit to this delightful restaurant, when we had a visitor for the weekend. What can I say: Delicious food assortment, we were a party of 3 and had 11 Tapas across Vegetarian, Seafood and Meat options. Wonderful flavour profile. Staff were super efficient and friendly. Have booked again for this coming weekend as another friend visiting.

Really enjoyed The Bank. Nice to have your own dining pod overlooking the marsh lands & nature reserve. Superb service from Tom made our evening more enjoyable. Spanish Tapas in Bude works well, we enjoyed our 5 dishes, although the slow-cooked beef was a little over seasoned unfortunately. Will put The Bank on our approved list of eateries in Bude.

Have been here many times but not for a while. If anything, the food was even better than before. Service was great, extremely helpful and attentive. Great range of dishes and really delicious food.

Chicken wings vert tasty but we're the only dish that came out lively and hot Sweet potato fies not crispy and we're cold Grilled prawns with black garlic butter only had 4 prawns and was double the price of the starter of panto coated prawns which were extremely tasty Would eat here again but would be more forthcoming with sending cold food back

Hello there, Many thanks for your recent visit although we are sad to hear not everything was enjoyed! We would very much always want to ensure you enjoy all your dishes whilst with us and too wish you had let us know during checkbacks or even at the end that you had been unhappy with your fries as we would have gotten you a fresh portion immediately. Our tiger prawns are much larger than our smaller panko prawns which does reflect in the price point, we are so glad to hear you enjoyed our homemade panko crumb. We do hope you too enjoyed the further 7 dishes not mentioned and that you had a lovely evening overall. Most enjoyable evening. We have visited this restaurant many times over the years and we have never had a bad experience. Food delicious. Service excellent. Friendly and helpful waiter. We will be back

Very overpriced for very average food. Wine extortionate. Service quite slow and quite condescending at times. The way we were given our instructions in how to complete our order forms. Treated like idiots. And we were asked by a very young person if we knew what paella was - and he didn’t even know how to pronounce it! Had heard mixed reviews but we’re hopeful that it was going to be better. Our friends had been before and said it had gone downhill. We wouldn’t return or recommend.

Our entire team pride themselves on being helpful, friendly and approachable and will be extremely upset to hear they have unintentionally made anyone feel as above. If you had mentioned at any point to the server directly or asked to speak with a manager privately to advise, I am sure they would have been very grateful for the opportunity to first apologise for any unintended way you felt and learn from the experience to grow in their work and customer experience as opposed to now we are unsure of whom you've described as your review is anonymous and unable to help someone use a negative and turn into a positive moving forward.
