Baker’s Table offers a true farm-to-table experience, with a monthly-changing 3-Course Prix Fixe menu that features local produce, artisan sourdough, and the best handmade pasta in Cincinnati. With extensive free parking available, and only a 6 minute drive from downtown, Baker's Table is an oasis of urban dining in historic Newport, Kentucky. For our November Wine Dinner, we invite you to savor two of our favorite things in the world - the richness of perfectly prepared local duck, and a glass of Burgundy Pinot. The Six-Course Tasting Menu featuring an amuse bouche, starter, pasta, main dish, palette cleanser, and a dessert and is accompanied by an incredible 4 course wine pairing (optional extra charge) featuring some of our very favorite Burgundy pours. Every dish is crafted using local, seasonal ingredients for a sumptuous experience that leaves you feeling light and nourished. Options available for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diners. -Only twenty tables available per night-

Enjoy a 4 course dining experience for you and your group at our high-top Baker's Table. This 30 year old antique oak table was hand crafted by a local baker and is the namesake of our restaurant. Available for parties of 7-12 guests. 3 hours allotted. The experience offers guests the choice of a starter, pasta, main, and dessert from our monthly seasonal menu. Wine and cocktails available a la carte.

-Ambience very pleasant. Tastefully decorated and bar is beautiful. Got a little loud by the time we left. -Service was flawless. Attentive without being overbearing. The manager welcomed us and played an active part in our experience. When we left, the bartender even opened the door for us! -The food was uneven: The bread was scrumptious. Wow! The beet and salmon appetizer was delicious. Smash hit. The pasta bolognese was excellent. It was made with pork and beef and was made exactly right: You could taste the wine, it was clearly simmered for a long time and was not too tomato-ey. The trout dish was good, the steak was cooked perfectly but the side vegetables were not to the diner’s taste. I kind of hate shishito peppers, they’re just not my thing. The gnocchi dish was very small and the taste of the sauce was kind of dull, basically pure cream. -The chocolate dessert was dreamy. A mix of chocolate in various textures, with a touch of mint. The pumpkin cheese was a miss. Forgettable and small. -They didn’t have the Pepsi our diner asked for. They did have a different cola that I liked and the other diners did not. They have a house-made amaretto that was excellent. The diner who had the prix fixe dinner added wine pairings. The first wine was serviceable but the second two wines, Pinot Noirs, were so new and tannic they were difficult to drink, even with sufficient breathing time. They were even tough to drink by the end of the meal, so they were left over. Overall, would I return? Yes.

The owner/chef does amazing and beautiful things in the kitchen. The front of the house staff make you feel welcome. We always have a fantastic experience.

We did the monthly tasting menu for a 30th birthday celebration and added the wine pairing. OMG it was perfection! The food was delicious and the wines were fantastic. Loved it so much. Plan on going again!!

Loved our dinner for the autumn tasting menu! The flavor combinations were delicious. Especially loved the gnocchi with the truffle cream sauce and the warm apple cocktail. Amazing! Thanks for a great evening!

This was an anniversary dinner. My husband is a meat and potatoes man and he throughly enjoyed dinner. It was fun to try new dishes and the wine was fabulous! The ambience was lovely…. real candles, music, and open evening air. We chatted with the couple next to us who had been there before for the “regular” menu. We’ll be back!

Amazing Farm to Table experience. The restaurant has a rotating menu depending on the season. I highly recommend the pre fixe menu with wine pairing.

The waitress was not friendly at all. Actually rude at times. But the food was really good.

This is the best restaurant in the Cincinnati area. Fresh ingredients, menus changing with the season, great bread, excellent wine list, superb, friendly service. Dined frequently over the last several years and never had a bad meal - and absolutely the best pasta since Rome!
