    We both enjoyed the large bone-in pork chop. It was moist and flavorful. We has them with a well-priced bottle of Barolo wine. Our server, Yusef, as always, saw to a great evening.

    Had “fondue”… not what we would really consider fondue. And they charge $17.49 which seems to be outrageous for what we got. Danny our server was very sweet and attentive. Food was good just seemed absurd to pay over $200 for two glasses of wine, and two steaks!

    Service was impeccable. He was very attentive and bought us a dessert to celebrate date night. Caesar salad was very good. Server suggested light or dark anchovies which is always a necessity. Partners steak was ordered medium rare but came out very rare. He had it Oscar style with lobster. Sauce was nicely done. Loaded baked potato went touched only once due to horrid smoked bacon that was overwhelming. I had the white cheddar burger prepared medium rare as well. It was hard to tell the temperature of the meat as it was very messy. Kind of fell apart so I ended up eating with a fork. Shoe string fries were way over salted. Speaking of salt, the table salt was wet. Unable to get any out of the shaker. It must have been on a patio table at one time and was kind of disturbing. Brussels sprouts were just mushy. Nothing good about them. Needed salt but unable to get any out of the shaker. Didn't bother to ask for any after first bite and knew I wasn't going to have any more. Dessert was banana bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Served wayyy too hot. Maybe microwaved? Couldn't taste any bananas but wasn't bad. Not great either. Overall really disappointing. Very busy and I am glad we made a reservation but nothing special except the server. He had a Post Malone vibe and I wish we could remember his name. He was great and I hope he knows who he is if he reads this.

    This was our first visit to The Avenue celebrating our anniversary. Our server was very attentive and respectful. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The presentation of the lobster and salmon was mouth watering and tasted even better. The crème brûlée was delectable which included a “Happy Anniversary” chocolate on top. Thank you staff to a wonderful evening.

    It was a 50th birthday celebration and it was a great experience. The staff were wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. They really made us happy and did a fabulous job making the birthday special. Will go back for birthdays and special occasions in the future for sure.
