When you combine our ability to source the best beef in the world, cooking with an incredible natural wood fire grill, and friendly thoughtful service, an incredible quality steak is born.

This is why we offer the best USDA Prime, True Japanese Wagyu, and Black Angus Beef.

Unlike most pedestrian steak houses, Each one of our Steaks is cooked skillfully by our Grill Master over a stoked live fire with smoking white oak embers.
Our steaks are available both wet-and dry-aged and well as Bone-in, grilled to perfection our magnificent J&R Woodfire Grill.

Join us in The Arthur J's private event space for a communal dining experience showcasing the wine making traditions of Napa's legendary Chappellet Vineyard. This is a rare opportunity to experience a wide range of expressions from a heritage estate nestled above the valley floor in St. Helena's Pritchard Hill. The evening will highlight Chapellett's grandeur and signature fruit-driven power alongside a 5-course tasting menu of Butter Poached Lobster, Black Truffle Agnolotti, Westholme Beef Tenderloin, a selection of Artisanal Cheeses, and Spiced Apple Frangipane Tart. This will be a special evening studded with exceptional wine, delicious classic steakhouse provisions, great conversation, and some memorable surprises along the way.

Excellent food. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, extremely gracious and had a great smile. I highly recommend Arthur J’s. The only negative is the parking. Manhattan Beach has terrible parking.

The food and service were exceptional. The noise level inside was too much. We asked to be seated outside and really didn’t think we’d have the best service since we were the only table outside, but we had exceptional service. Sea bass and prime rib did not disappoint, ice cream for dessert was a bonus. We’ll be back.

Exceptional food with stellar service! Great for celebrating special events as it is pricey! We had one little glitch with the dessert not being up to par. They happily removed it from the bill and threw in a complimentary birthday offering to boot !
