Gerrard was a great server. Great spot for dining out. The Ambassador cocktail was perfect for the holiday season.

Their Vinyl Brunch was cool, enjoyed the ambiance, vintage & eclectic decor and furniture. The food was delicious, I had the biscuits & gravy and sister had the firehouse breakfast. Their Christmas decorations are beautiful & elegant. I would’ve given 5 stars across the board if the kitchen had gotten my eggs right.

Very elegant dining style! The parking was great as far as the valet and the restaurant decor was fabulous. Inside was a bit crowded we actually sat right next to others but overall the service was great and the lighting was excellent as well. The food was limited some things are better than others. But we had a great time it was a great experience!

It was a slow Thursday night, and the restaurant was more than fully staffed. Yet from the time we arrived for just drinks we were not provided any service. We waited and waited for drink service and finally had to go get a bartender who just made excuses. We returned for dinner and again the service was well below par. Staff didn't know which glass to use for sparkling water, so they poured it in the wine glasses. The food is far from being outstanding and not worth the price one is expected to pay. An order of beet risotto was a red liquid, little to no rice and a few chucks of squash. what rice there was in the bowl was swimming in the red liquid. the floor manager has no customer service attributes one would expect when being notified that a dish was being sent back. She was very cold, condescending and could have care less that the kitchen didn't know how to make risotto. The salad was bland, just romaine on a plate. On the second night a member of our group went to the bar and waited over 10 minutes and never got served or acknowledged at all. There's a lot of staff but they lack training and leadership on how to execute duties to an expected level.

Great for energetic evening downtown. Sitting area, bar, and dinning all nice to grab a cocktail and a bite.

We stayed at the Detroit Foundation Hotel, so of course we needed to try the restaurant. Except for getting seated at a small table by the entrance when the restaurant was almost empty and there were plenty of nicer table to choose from, it all turned out great. The food…. perfection!!!! The oysters were so fresh and delicious! The cocktails and their wine list were great, so even before considering the entrees, we were impressed. The menu is seasonal and had a nice variety to it. We ended up ordering Gnocchi and the Lamb ragu pasta which was perfect. Both dishes filled with flavors and the perfect size. The vibe at the hotel was great and I would be perfectly fine just staying at the hotel for a weekend enjoying perfect food, fun Saturday afternoon cocktails (they have a DJ playing great music) and excellent brunches on the weekends. If anything, the staff was a little inattentive. They very easily ignored people wanted to buy something at the bar, tables in the lobby bar didn’t get cleaned when people left etc. But still I gotta love this place.

I always enjoy seeing this establishment. Great time. I suggest following directly into dinner from brunch without closing.
