A mediocre dining experience. At £28 for Roast Beef, I felt it lacked. It was tasty, but it was missing something. We had a 12:30 reservation on a Sunday and it was empty (granted it was a super sunny day, so that would account for a lot), but the atmosphere was dead. The roast potatoes (the glue of any roast) had no bite or crisp to them and were just a bit of a soggy carb. The Yorkshire was very good as was the carrot purée. Can not fault the service as they were super lovely. It wasn’t a bad experience, far from it, I just had higher expectations for the price point.

The team were super busy but still managed to give us amazing service and I had by far the best roast in Clapham. Great service and great food!

Booked in for a roast for 3 people. Unfortunately, the food and service was a let down. The roasts were a very small portion and the food was cold. The staff were friendly, but arguing with each other, which impacted the service. We were given 2 empty salt shakers and then when we asked for another one, we were given a pepper shaker. We were recommended here for a roast, but would not recommend to others, based on our experience.

We love this pub. Great decor, the service is brilliant and the food is always excellent - one of the best brunches in Clapham. Such a shame it’s so often very quiet on weekend mornings, it deserves more customers. Dinner and Sunday roast also amazing. Highly recommend it.

What a fantastic spacious pub ! We had a delicious lunch at the pub today with the most friendly service and scrumptious food! Highly recommended for families as space for prams and little ones. Roast beef with all the trimmings, yes please! Cannot wait to return.

We attended on a Saturday afternoon at an unusual time for a later lunch early dinner. The food was amazing!
