The Aperture, the first full-scale restaurant project from Chef Jordan Anthony-Brown. The menu reflects the concept of Mediterranean mezze style dining, consisting of many small plates, rustic in nature and reflective of seasonality and creates a natural progression and flow for the dining experience. The Aperture’s menu reflects three fundamental tenets: intention, balance, and focus. The menu - and its individual dishes - are approached with the objective of putting critical thought into every component, eliminating the extraneous, and ensuring a natural flow across the menu. The culinary program is heavily influenced by the cuisine of the broader Mediterranean region and the simple, seasonal cooking of Southern France, Italy, Greece, and the Levant.

Enjoyed the experience, different in a good way. Very mod and fresh. Food was very good, but appetizer are super tiny. Definitely not for more than 2 people, actually I could have eaten both appetizers by myself. Drinks are also very little for the money. Everyone really enjoyed their main course. Waitress did her job and was prompt, but could have been more upbeat for a restaurant like that. Don’t think I saw her smile one bit.

This is a modern looking restaurant with open tables but you can’t get a reservation for weeks? Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was good but not great and small portions. The best thing we had was the pita and eggplant dip.

From beginning to end everything was fantastic. Great service. Great wine. The tempura crusted cod was lights out amazing as were the charred carrots. A true gem in this city

Came here due to recommendation from BJ Lieberman (chef operator in Columbus). Very focused menu, high quality presentation, great flavors and food quality. Service was a little relaxed from what I was expecting but still very good. Ambience was nice but loud to the pint of difficult conversing at a larger table. Feels like a young and very promising restaurant. I will likely be back in the future.

Best meal we’ve had in the last few years. Beautiful fresh food, space, and drinks. Service was fantastic. If they gave Ohio restaurants Michelin stars, they’d have one.

Wow. Great food and decor. We loved the shareable concept. Drinks were perfect. Very interesting wine selection. Jeremy our server was great. Now we know it was on NY Times favorite restaurant list.

Charred carrots, Cod Tempura and Lamb shoulder were all delicious! Smoked ice cream was not for me, but others may enjoy the uniqueness of the flavor. It’s a bit noisy, making conversation difficult. But the food was amazing and we will be back!!

The restaurant is nicely decorated with a minimalist feel. The food is mediocre and overpriced. The noise level is deafening. I travel and have literally dined in every major city in the US and in Europe. This is one of the 50 best restaurants in the US? I think not.
