Food service: monday to thursday: 12.00 noon til 2.30pm 6.00pm til 9.30pm. Friday & saturday: 12noon til 9.30pm. Sunday: 12.00noon til 8.30pm. All food is freshly cooked to order so when we are busy there could be a slight delay.                                                                                                                 A lovely welcome as usual, first class beers available & an excellent menu. Chose seafood lasagne which I’d never had before & it was delicious, served with a really good salad.

                                                                                                                A very popular venue, as such service can be a little slow , however the ambience makes up for it as do the pleasant staff and food.

                                                                                                                We didn’t enjoy our experience or food And would say it was the worst meal I’ve had in a while. The service was not great considering there was 4 or 5 girls serving took ages to get a drink when we sat down to then have to ask each time we wanted another drink no glasses were cleared from our table so we just had a empty collection building up. The food Was was basic and not very fresh very bland and just heated up or frozen it seemed. Ran out of mash to go with pies. We wasn’t given no new cutlery after our starters so just had to make do with what we had as no one was around to ask Expensive for what we had been given.

                                                                                                                Four of us dined at the Angel Inn, it was a sat eve and fairly busy. Service was slow to order food, we had to eventually ask for our order to be taken. Three of us had steak which were not cooked to our liking, and the cuts of meat were cheap. We were all disappointed. The fourth person had pie veg and mash which they said was lovely. The tables were all really close together too making us feel quite hemmed in. It’s a shame as we have been before and enjoyed our food far more. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Normally we would recommend but after sat eve would hesitate.

                                                                                                                Nice and friendly pub with good food and generous portions. Always greeted with a friendly smile. Great place to eat and will return again soon.
