The Angel at Burford is a 16th century coaching inn, welcoming customers to enjoy quality dining, in a relaxed environment.
Simplicity and quality are top of our "must have' list here at The Angel. We source our ingredients locally, make full use of seasonal produce and never compromise on standards.

                                              It's always a pleasure to eat at The Angel, where the food is excellent. Our party had fish and chips and the lamb special: both tasty. A table by the fire was a bonus on a chilly day.

                                              Enjoyed a lovely meal with family to celebrate a special birthday. Service was great but not pushy. Food was really tasty. The seating was great. Recommend this quaint pub in a lovely small town in the Cotswolds.

                                              Absolutely brilliant evening as always! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you feel very welcome and all the staff have a smile which is so warming on a most cold wet evening the beautiful log burner going is so lovely too everyone makes you feel very special the food is so very good and so flavourful too thank you for another lovely evening! We’ve been visiting the Angel for more than 6 years and it’s lovely!
