Lovely fish pie! Shared Camembert as a starter. Enjoyed glass of Picpoul and cafetière of decaffeinated coffee. Have been before and will go back. Thank you

We found this pub last week and drove an hour and a half back just for the roast dinner. Amazing food, staff are so lovely & overall wholesome Sunday pub vibes

It was a wonderful place and the food was amazing, we had ribeye steak and it was perfectly done to our request. We also had malbec and that was a great accompaniment too. The service was perfect, the town amazing and the actual venue full of charm and character.

We had dinner at The Angel last night. Only two of us. The food was delicious, with generous portions and the service was excellent. They returned to the table often, to see if we needed anything. Extremely pleasant staff. We would definitely visit again. All round, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank You 🙏🏻

We enjoyed a lovely lunch with good friends in the pub's secluded sun terrace. All the food and drinks were first class, and the service exceptional.

Really enjoyed our dinner. The service and food was excellent. I'm a vegetarian and although I found the veggie options were limited, the pasta for the main was delicious. I would recommend.

A really lovely pub with a beautiful garden, lovely staff and the roast dinner was genuinely one of the best I've ever had. Would definitely return upon visiting Burford.
