You'll find us nestled snugly right on Seatown Beach, hidden along one of the many coves that litter Dorset's famous Jurassic coastline. Once a smugglers haunt, the pub now serves a seasonal menu with a focus on seafood and fresh local produce.

Complete with wood fires and Palmers award winning ales, the pub is the perfect location to refuel after a day on the coastal path or for a special evening meal with friends or family.

Great food and service - we ate inside then had coffee outside to enjoy the sun and the great views.

Another beautiful meal at the Anchor Inn. Never disappoints!! Fresh seafood cooked to perfection 👌🏽. Knowledge and friendly staff. Best pint of Dorset Gold we've had this trip. If they are taking bookings for when you plan to eat here, make a booking because it is very popular.

Menu not very extensive. Lobster Thermador was a great treat but beware - there’s no more than a few mouthfuls of lobster so not a good choice if you’re really hungry. Chips were to die for. Beetroot hummus as a starter was very tasty.

Set in such a great location and the food doesn’t disappoint either!! I had the Roast Jerk Pork Belly which was Devine, just the right amount of spice and served with rice. My wife had the Fish and Chips which was huge and really fresh. Our two girls (12 and 10) had a pizza on the beach which was really good as well. Nothing but praise to all the staff in and out the kitchen as the Service was really good as well as the food !!
