You'll find us nestled snugly right on Seatown Beach, hidden along one of the many coves that litter Dorset's famous Jurassic coastline. Once a smugglers haunt, the pub now serves a seasonal menu with a focus on seafood and fresh local produce.

As ever, a great dining experience. Staff very attentive, food excellent. Our dogs were also made welcome.

Had a very enjoyable evening at the Anchor Inn, Golden Cap, last night. The food was delicious, service was good, we had a lovely waitress, from Melbourne, who was very charming and attentive.Altogether a great experience, thankyou. We will be back.

Great food and very accommodating as are party grew from 6 to 8 people. Wonderful pub in a beautiful setting.

A lovely warm atmosphere, candles and fires made the pub cosy and welcoming on a frosty evening. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and our main courses and dessert were very well cooked with subtle and tasty sauces.

We had a lovely evening, best fish dish I had in a long time. The rest of our group had the roast and said it was amazing. We were served by Josh who was lovely and very attentive! Can’t rate it enough. Have eaten here over the years, but the food, staff and ambience were the best we have had here! Thanks all a wonderful evening, eating drinking playing cards and hiding from the dreadful wind and rain!
