    Had to wait nearly an hour for food and it wasnt even busy! Tired sandwiches with poor fillings, the bread was more stale than fresh. Very limited choice of teas. Cakes looked nice but no substance to any of them. Posh hotel serves very poor experience. Do not waste your money or believe the good reviews shown on their site, its appalling

    View is very nice and staff were attentive and polite, if a little slow. Food was not as good as expected for location/price.

    The Anchor Bar is the social hub of the Chelsea Harbour Hotel and can get quite lively in the evenings, especially after a conference. When busy the three people on duty can get a bit overwhelmed but are nevertheless charming and helpful. We were serviced by Aurora and Stella who were both efficient throughout our dinner. If we were looking for a formal dinner we would use the hotel restaurant, but the bar was fine for us.

    We arrived at the hotel and we were greeted by a very polite gentleman who took us to the bar area . We had a drink from the bar and then let the bartender know we had a booking for Bottomless Brunch booked for 1pm . That’s where it started to unravel! He said he had no booking for us , and could we wait 5-10 mins for his manager to come . When she arrived she also said they had no record of our booking . I showed them the email from yourselves and the one from Buyagift , but they said they needed to know how much we paid for the voucher !!( it was a present , that’s what Buyagift is !!!) . Eventually they sat us at a table and the bartender came over and said we could have one glass of Prosecco. We explained the concept of ‘bottomless ‘ . The manager gave us the full menu ( not brunch ) and were told we could choose from that , excluding the steak . She then explained that they very rarely do Sunday brunch , probably only once a month, so I really don’t understand why they offer it . We were made to feel very uncomfortable throughout the experience as they seemed to be totting up our bill every time we ordered anything . I would not recommend this experience, even though the food was very tasty .

    The food was really nice but the service was poor. We had a long wait for staff to take our tea order, then they brought out the wrong afternoon tea, when we were offered another pot of tea they just poured more hot water over the original tea bag (they didn't use a new tea bag so the tea was undrinkable) and when we were offered a box to take the cakes home we couldn't eat, which we agreed to, they then forgot to bring the boxes out. We paid for our afternoon tea but not the 12.5% service charge as we were not happy with the service provided to which the staff member said we had underpaid and got stroppy.
