The Americano is an Italian-inspired steakhouse that is modern in approach and Italian in spirit. With an elevated, yet approachable menu it serves every taste, from fine steaks, such as prime and American Wagyu beef, to freshly made pasta, organic salads, Italian antipasti and Mediterranean seafoods including Italian crudi. The Americano blends a European style of highly personalized, tableside service with contemporary Italian-inspired dining to create an unmistakable, convivial experience within the heart of North Scottsdale. We like Americano, but on Valentine’s Day we had bad experience. Starting with the lady at the reception that we’ve been told she is the floor manager. She is very passive aggressive and not accommodating even though we booked in advance and the restaurant was almost empty. All the 2 pp table were empty, yet she was des

All courses were great, except the mains. Management took off a portion of the bill to make it right, which we appreciated. Steak had no flavor and tasted boiled, and chewy. Fish was bone dry. But the other courses were FABULOUS! Great, calm, intimate ambience.

Our waiter Sean was great. We started with umami rockefeller oysters (best ever!) and the ahi tuna which was excellent. Then the bolognese pasta - 10 out of 10! We then shared sea bass, pureed potatoes and broccolini - so good! Went down to the speakeasy after dinner - very fun. This is a true fine dining experience and not a rushed pace. Plan to take your time and enjoy the evening. Highly recommend the Americano!!

The Tagliatelle Bolognese is fabulous! The service is professional, but also welcoming. We love coming here.
