Very disappointed in my expectations of The Americano. Was visiting ATL and wanted a great Sunday brunch experience with my husband. Chose Americano based on reviews and the live band. Restaurant was empty at 12pm, so should have known it wasn't gonna be good. Server was nice, but took 20 mins to get drinks and place orders, even though there was literally 2 tables of customers. Food was bland, had to get salt and pepper to add flavor. Eggs are the cheap ones served at continental breakfasts. Bacon had no flavor, never knew that was possible. Wagyu hash tasted just like regular pot roast, nothing notable. Our 2 meals plus 2 drinks was $100! Totally not worth it.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Americano. The food was delicious, the ambience was perfectly peaceful, and the service was superb.

Would consider this a hole-in-the-wall! The bolognese is to DIE for and honestly the best pasta I’ve had in ATL. Service is phenomenal. It’s never as busy but don’t let that fool you because their food is so good!

Not sure how to write about my lunch, I have mixed feelings. Placed my order and I almost left due to the very long wait for my appetizer and wine. The waiter kept walking passed my table and never said anything about the wait. The wine finally came. Very good malbec, at $17 a glass I was glad it was. The appetizer came, I was the wrong one. Sent it back. Told him to forget about it cause I was getting a burger and fries soon. Ordered the artisanal bread and smoked butter. I wasn't very impressed, it looked like plain old Italian bread, not artisanal. I ordered the burger medium well, it came out medium. It was good so I didn't say anything. I asked for fries without salt, they came with salt. By the time my new fries came I was done eating the burger. the burger was huge! Tender and thick! Roll was toasted perfectly. Lettuce, tomato, pickle. The burger and fries were pretty tasty. When I got the bill I noticed that I wasn't charged for the glass of wine. I assumed it was to make up for botched food order. All in all, this visit wasn't a good first impression. But... I'm willing to give them another try. Everyone has an off day. The wine was good, and the burger was very good. It'll be even better if I can get it medium well!

Amazing experience! We visited Atlanta from Orlando and had the best dining experience ever. IBN was our server and he was great as well. The steak and the Rigatoni alla vodka was absolutely amazing thank you guys so much!
