The American Reserve is a vibrant downtown dining gem, with a warm setting distinguished by a chic décor, elegant marble walls and lofty 20-foot ceilings.

For gourmet breakfasts, business lunches and intimate dinners alike, guests may select from an inventive, locally sourced seasonal menu perfectly complemented by signature cocktails and an impressive wine list.

The American Reserve is located downtown Kansas City, open 365 days a year. Currently serving dinner from 5pm-10pm daily. The American Reserve can accommodate most dietary needs. Parking based upon availability.

We dine at the restaurant for the first time, it was highly recommended on Open Table. The hotel and location created a nice ambiance. The server was friendly. The food was average based on the prices. The shrimp and grits had decent taste but the presentation was under whelming. We probably will not dine at Americana again but it was a decent experience.

Valet was perfect, both in and out. Dinner was amazing. We had salads, followed by a mixture of appetizers for our main course. The salads were unique and exceptionally flavorful. The appetizers were a 10 out 10. Service was outstanding. Ambience was delightful. Highly recommend, and we will be back for sure!

Great service, valet only $15, drinks were ok, cod fish was very good, chicken is airline style — salty sauce, but that’s likely just me (I don’t use much salt). Service was the best and we have a habit of buying another tables meal every special occasion that we go out for, this place allowed me to buy a family’s meal completely anonymously— which is a relief (otherwise we are rushing out to avoid the “reveal”). Great staff.
