The Amalfi Llama reimagines the culinary landscape by seamlessly merging the allure of a rustic live-fire steakhouse with the flavors of Italian cuisine, a culinary haven where genuine cooking, down-to-earth cuisine and stylish flair intertwine. Guests embark on a journey from Southern Patagonia to the Mediterranean coast of Italy as they indulge in a multisensory experience that transcends boundaries – from the soothing cream decor to the intimate ambiance of crackling embers accompanied by the melodies of vintage Italian vinyls. Embracing the essence of a modern farmhouse, The Amalfi Llama revolves around an open parrilla grill and wood-burning oven, harnessing fire, smoke, coals and embers to craft dishes. Everything was great except the entrees were mediocre at best. The appetizers were crazy expensive. Hamachi Crudo for $29 and you only get 4 small pieces of fish!

I personally don’t leave reviews on places but I will say this place really took the cake . From the service to the food everything was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a full well rounded dining experience.

I did not find the $28 empanadas to be worth their value for three very small bites. The Crudo was very good. The Caesar salad large however not noteworthy. The fillet was very well cooked. However, there was a significant wait time in between receiving our salads and steak, roughly 30 minutes later they were brought out. I thought the restaurant was set up quite nicely however, even with reservations, the hostess seem to not have a table available for us when we arrived. When we were being led to our table by the hostess one of the managers in a gray jacket shoulder checked, my wife didn’t apologize and ran off, which we found to be a very abrupt start to the meal. Our server didn’t bring out any sides with the steak until we had to ask if they were included and she responded with “they are but you didn’t order them all you said was steak” (we had assumed if it was a single side she would have clarified). Additionally, after we finished our main course, the server asked if we would like our desserts in a to go box because “that’s what other customers like” it felt much more like they were trying to push us out of the restaurant, even though the only reason we were there for so long was because they didn’t bring our food out in a reasonable timeframe. I feel like this is a very honest and fair review. There were good parts of the meal and there were unfortunately quite disappointing parts. I would recommend others try the restaurant the food was ok (perhaps not for that price point though) and hopefully they do not experience the difficulties that we did this evening.

I would have liked the steak knives to be more of a a steak knife feel and better blades. The noise level was fine with background music until the DJ started at around 6 or 7 pm. then the sound became bothersome, but not too bad.

Our server, Brian, was great! attentive without being overbearing. There wasn't a bite I didn't love. The extra dirty martini was the perfect amount of dirty. Ribeye well seasoned, good char, and medium rare with a nice truffle mash. My favorite was definitely the roasted burrata. Even the bread paired with it was sensational. Don't miss out on the happy hour. Prices are phenomenal and some apps half off. And since the food gives you an extra pep in your step, you can power shop knowing you can try on clothes with a little extra room for the long haul wear 😉

We went on Valentine’s Day, it was alright. Food was just okay. Cheesecake was odd.. Waiter was nice but seemed to disappear for minutes on end in the back of the restaurant (we were sitting outside). I feel a 20% added gratuity was not at all worth what he did for us. I had been done with my Branzino for at the least 15 minutes, sitting with an empty plate in front of me, my husband hadn’t touched his steak for at least 10 minutes and he still hadn’t come by between that time. All in all, 3 stars (at best). This was NOT worth a $300 dinner.
