The meal was lovely but the ambience let's it down. Sticky small table for 4 of us. We had the booth. Restaurant is echoy. Service was average, perhaps because it was father's day. had to grab their attention if needed something. Doesn't feel high end restaurant but enjoyed the food.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback on your visit with us on Father's Day! We are looking into options to try and compartmentalise the space in the restaurant to make it a little more cosy and intimate so please bear with us...we indeed did struggle a little on the day due to the volume of guests but we hope it didn't take away from your experience too much with us and look forward to welcoming you again in the future! My only disappointment was that we had been charged for 2 drinks that we never received which I didn’t realise until I had left the venue

Great food, and really nice menu always gives that high end pub feel- they also do the most amazing chocolate praline cocktail

Very good staff, who were attentive. The music was too loud (for privacy?) and appeared to cause the conversations at tables to rise in compensation. There are very little soft furnishings to absorb the natural level of conversations, and adding music doesn't help. I'm not trendy enough to use any of the comments in the next section. I can only say, that for twelve years it was our family's go to restaurant in Kenilworth, especially with growing children, but the music has killed it for us. You can't make conversations anymore. Pity!

Sunday lunch was beautifully cooked. I had roast beef and was asked how I liked it cooked. Vegetables roasted were delicious. Hard to eat a better roast. Staff were attentive and polite,

Lovely service and atmosphere but very disappointing lunch time menu choices and when it arrived, we had the toasted cheese, it was tasteless and almost impossible to eat. The cheese was very mild and there was no taste of marmite

As always the service was great but unfortunately this time the food was a let down, the kofta’s to start were over cooked and tasted odd, for the main, I had fish and chips. The fish was watery (like it had been frozen) and the presentation was poor. Really disappointing as the food is normally good
