The Albert Inn is a characterful pub, dining room & garden on Walsworth Road in Hitchin just 3 minutes from Hitchin train station.

We take pride in our selection of craft beers which offer a wide variety of beers from well respected breweries including Tring and Hammerton breweries. Stop in for a pint or a meal and choose from our extensive menu of British and European classics, the lobster, or just a few bar snacks. Summer in our garden is a real sun trap and we are ideally located to further explore the local area.

Excellent Sunday roast. I had beef, my partner lamb. Both very tasty and plenty to eat. Usually I find lamb undercooked for my taste. Tried my partners, cooked how I like it, definitely next visits choice.

Came for a Sunday roast. Everything was lovely however I think the vegetable offering on the roast could be better. Too much cabbage!

My first visit to this little gem in our community and deffo won't be my last! so welcoming and accommodating to my dietary needs. The food was first class for myself and my friends, the staff extremely friendly, and the dachshund added an extra family feel.Dogs and families welcome booking a must highly recommend xx

My meal if roast ham was lovely. There was a bit of a wait though and the food was a little cool.
