This was our first time at The Albert. The food was amazing, but the service was extraordinary. They went above and beyond to acknowledge my wife’s birthday. The birthday cake was a nice touch. Try the Chef’s Cut. It was great. We will be back

The food was very well prepared and everyone in our group had nothing but compliments on the menu. The only drawback was how long it took to get service, we even had a long wait just to order our drinks. If the waiter had once smiled or at least commented about the long wait- it would had been a stellar evening.

Had dinner at the Archive Lounge on the second floor overlooking the main restaurant. Great spot for relaxed, informal evening, with very good Sicilian pizza and small selection of antipasti dishes, Excellent tomato sauce and flavors on everything we tried. Small list of good, relatively inexpensive Italian wine options. Very nice, attentive waitress. Seems to be overlooked by neighborhood residents, but it shouldn't be.

The food and service is just average. The layout of the dining room is terrible. We had a reservation for six people. If you have a reservation why is the table not set up at the reservation time.?? When we arrived at the restaurant they pushed 3 4-top tables together. The problem was the table was right next to the bar seating and the length of table ran the same way of the bar. There was a large party seated at the bar and additional people talking with them and standing behind them . One lady kept hitting one of us in the back of the head with her purse and another person kept bumping her butt into one our persons chair. We complained to the hostess and asked to be moved or have the people standing behind us to move. When the hostess talked with them, luckily they left. It seems the logical thing is to not set up a table so close to the bar. There was plenty of room on the other side table and the table could easily moved away from the bar. Whoever manages this place definitely not on top of things.

Food quality poor. Food choices poor. One person at my table, wanted a plain vegetable, and there was none to order on the menu, only asparagus with ham wrapped on it and the server said they couldn’t make plain asparagus. Not on the same level with other similar type restaurants around the area.

A special occasion and The Albert did not disappoint! Polenta and Artichoke appetizers were superb. Our waiter made excellent suggestions from the menu. Well recommended!!

Apps (artichoke, crostini) and drinks were great. Entrees (we got pastas) were very disappointing - almost looked like cafeteria food, overcooked noodles, and almost no meat in the meat pasta. Service was slow at first but the waiter himself was really nice! I think they had too many tables per waitstaff.

Food and service were great. Music was too loud and we had to ask for it to be lowered twice (I go therefor dinner, not for a disco bar). There was also a very loud (drunk) table that was drawing attention from many people. It appeared little was done to de-escalate the table.
