Le Majestic Yosemite Hotel donne un sentiment d'élégance et de raffinement tout en conservant une atmosphère confortable et naturelle. Our server Lucy was particular friendly and helpful. Food from the buffet was good and nice variety. The dining room atmosphere is unbeatable. Thanks

It was my husband’s birthday and the waiter refused to bring a celebratory dessert. The kitchen is being renovated so the food choice is from a buffet. They usually have their fireplace on but they didn’t so it was very cold. Thankfully they still have the piano player.

Seated quickly. Offered soup, bread & drink orders taken. Buffet was nice, but nothing “special” No effort to refill buffet containers til the last shred of lettuce, etc. was used. Prime rib was too rare 4 me. Told to have server “ cook it more!” Desserts were plain & poor quality. Ran out of all but one dessert & asked To have more brought out … took 1/2 hr! Table service was slow to non existent. Had to flag down sparse servers for drink refills. Our “ waiter” magically reappeared with the check! At this price point & restaurant reputation I expect MUCH better food & WAY better service!

When we arrived, we were told that the kitchen was under construction and the meal was going to be buffet. We started with the shrimp which was not solid pieces but somewhat mealy. Either too old or cooked too long. The Prime Rib was very rare . I asked if there was some that was more cooked. He pointed at the narrow butt end which some strange lumps. They should have cut off the very end. The spoon for the mashed potatoes mashed was loaded with potatoes. Staff was around but no one bothered to clean it off. The mashed potatoes were lumpy. The vegetables were mushrooms and broccoli. t was a strange combination mixed together on one platter. Mushrooms were ok but the broccoli was hard. There was also something with chicken but it was empty through the whole time we were at the buffet. All the items we on a very low scale of warm. Very disappointing. We have eaten here before and this was not good. If they have problems with the kitchen then make a menu that the kitchen can handle/ This poor meal was at high prices.

The dinner buffet was much better than I expected, and I loved having live music while dining. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

We were guests at hotel and dined there 2 nights. The only menu option was a buffet. Food was poor to fair, often cold and tasteless. Options didn’t really vary from night to night. We were a captive audience , no other dining options. Staff was friendly and attentive. Room is iconic. The food however, meh.
