We welcome you to join us in our beautifully renovated restaurant and bar for a great meal, a catch up with friends and family or even just a drink after work or on a beautiful and sunny afternoon on a Sunday.

We are open for Dinner Wednesday to Sunday from 5.30pm and open for lunch on Friday and Sunday from 12pm to 2pm (bookings for dinner or lunch are essential)

There is no need to make a booking for Drinks and welcome you to come in.

I requested to be placed at a table where we could see the band because the whole purpose of going to The Acorn was to see Standing Room Only. We were place in the furthest table possible from the band. I was very disappointed

A new place for myself and my friends to dine at. Service from all staff was good and pleasant. Fireplace was lovely to sit near and music was good although loud. Worth a visit.

Every time we go here it’s the absolute best - the food is amazing, the atmosphere and live music is amazing and the staff are so lovely! And the owner, Tony is usually there and always so welcoming and lovely! Could not recommend it enough!

Food over cooked, table service not great & hard to hear. Dining area so noisy it was hard to hard a conversation. Hard to also exit the building with crowd in front of band area so over crowded. Don’t think we would come back for a dining experience

Food was not as good as we have had previously. Xmas ham and mixed grill dry and overcooked, chips may have been recooked many times and were not hot. Service was average we asked for water and received a bottle no glasses dirty dishes were left on the table for a long time I ended up stacking them . Sticky date pudding was dry . Staff lovely, but not enthusiastic about service. Great cosy place which we have been to many times before disappointed today.
