Welcome to The Acle Steak, at The Kings Head Inn. We're a steakhouse & brasserie at the centre of the broads town of Acle, where you'll find the finest cuts of meat alongside contemporary pub classics, delicious sweet treats and a fine selection of beers & ales.

We also boast a large car park, 7 bedrooms, a beautiful courtyard and pub garden, plus dedicated family and function room.

had previously eaten there Xmas eve 2023, was 10 of us & it was excellent returned sun 28th may just as a 4 & was bang average poor choice of shiraz only 11% , chips were like they had been heated up from yesterday, gammon was 10oz but when it arrived looked like it had shrunk in the wash , food was edible but not incredible, if you can’t cook chips then the rest is a lost cause , woukd we return ? based on that 1 meal NO not sure if it’s been taken over since dec 2023 but tonight’s visit won’t see us returning

The food was so good, couldn’t fault it or the service,definitely worth the trip over there for a Meal

The place was cold one of the other customers turned the fans off to try and keep warm we ordered the food when it came we sent back the peas as they were hard they did some fresh ones they were dreadful The chef can cook meat but veg isn’t his thing I would order a burger I think they are good The bartender was doing everything and he’s not really the person to meet and greet. To sum it up don’t order veg and then you will get an ok meal

Went on a date with my girlfriend and thought we’d try somewhere new so came here, it was quite dull and firstly had to ask the bartender which seemed to be the only person running the place that we had a booking so he showed us to our table and well half an hour goes by and not once did we get asked what drinks we wanted. The pricing on the menu was ridiculous £36 for a beef wellington and £32 for a mixed grill bare in mind that’s not I clinging the starter, drinks or deserts but my girlfriend and I was getting very impatient and getting hungry so we decided to leave and go elsewhere that our food and everything came to the same price as the beef wellington she was going to have! Very disappointed not to sure how the place is still surviving with only one person there won’t be going again!

Booked a table for an evening meal for four of us . Could not fault the meal at all Full marks given to service and chef thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will be returning soon

Out of 4 stakes 2 we're cooked wrong. Informed staff when come to paying the bill and they had nothing to say. Disappointing when a steak restaurant can't cook their steak as requested. Other than that the food was good, but that is kind of a big deal when going out for a steak.
