Welcome to The Acle Steak, at The Kings Head Inn. We're a steakhouse & brasserie at the centre of the broads town of Acle, where you'll find the finest cuts of meat alongside contemporary pub classics, delicious sweet treats and a fine selection of beers & ales.

We also boast a large car park, 7 bedrooms, a beautiful courtyard and pub garden, plus dedicated family and function room.

It was absolutely freezing in the so called Snug. ( cold and draughty) And we had to wait a long time to get served , along with everyone else.

Main meal and wine was great indeed really nice steak, desserts were terrible cheery crème brûlée was more like scrambled egg and the pear tartartan was a slice that had come out of the fridge these should be cooked to order Service was average a bit slow getting to us pleasant enough but no personality All in all it was ok

Disappointed that there was no sparking wine at all!! Service slow between starters and dinner, but other then that food was lovely!

We have visited Acle Steak on several occasions and have previously been very happy with our experience. This is the first time we have been asked to leave feedback. Sadly we found things disappointing last night. The food was lacking in taste and the meat was tough. The place is fine but there was only us plus another couple dining at the time. The service was fine. Also I was pleased to find John Smith beer was available.

We chose the ribs and Sea Bass, both were cooked to perfection and very well presented, the portion size including the sweets was very generous, the service was excellent and the staff very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was nicely busy which enhanced the great atmosphere .

A very smart dining pub. The menu is quite varied - not just steak. The food was very good and well-presented.

Having looked at previous reviews we were a little dubious as to what to expect. However we experienced a very friendly welcome, lovely food - simple steak and chips with a peppercorn sauce. The steak was gorgeous and cooked to perfection and the chips were crisp and tasty. Restaurant was quiet so not much atmosphere, but this wasn’t an issue to us. Used a Groupon voucher and so great value for a week day lunch.

We have been to the Acle Steak on a number of occasions and not been disappointed but on this visit we both decided to have the steak frites. The dish was well presented but unfortunately the steak had sinew throughout, this could be seen where the steak had been sliced ,i left some and my partner left most of their steak, when we pointed this out we were informed that this can happen? with this type of dish. The restaurant and bar were not busy with only two tables occupied. We would be reluctant to order steak again which is a great pity as the establishment is called Acle Steak.
