This venue has excellent service, cocktails and probably the best steak frites I've ever had!

I’m so pleased The Ace is back to the high quality restaurant it once was. The food was absolutely delicious and so were the cocktails; the service was excellent; and the portions generous If I were to improve something is the light levels, it’s a bit too dark at the back of the restaurant, but all and all a great experience!

Thank you so much to the staff for being incredible yesterday, despite our need to postpone our reservation twice due to the wedding being delayed by the storm. We’re so grateful for their patience and kindness. The food was also amazing! We highly recommend the duck confit with oyster mushrooms—absolutely delicious!

Went with 2 friends from out of town for their burger which was cooked medium rare just as we ordered it. Not too many places will do this these days. Hanna was wonderful looking after us. The wine list was very good and the ambience with the open kitchen was lively but not noisy. Looking forward to going back soon.

Always delicious, with delicate but savoury flavours (best steak frites! Charred carrot starter was also amazing). Good cocktails. And truly the nicest servers around. Lucky to have The Ace as our local!

I am baffled as to how The Ace has received a Michelin recommendation. This is a very mediocre restaurant. The Eggs Benedict was overcooked, with fully cooked yolks, and the bread was burnt. The latte was flavorless. The sofa felt like its springs were about to pop out, and there was a strange smell throughout the restaurant. It makes me wonder about the state of the kitchen and how many rats might be lurking back there.

The reservation was easy to set up. The captain was very friendly and the table was set at our arrival. The ambience is cozy, maybe a bit dark, but the illumination focuses on the open kitchen presenting the chefs doing what they do best. The small menu allows to decide relatively easily what each person will get and all the dishes had amazing quality of produce as well as preparation. I had the duck confit toast and my partner had the french toast with fruits. Both were delicious and decadent. An amazing experience. We want to try the dinner menu now. Totally worth it.
