GO!!!! You won’t regret it. Not the Ritz in Paris or Carlyle in NYC, etc.

Was looking forward to trying this new spot. Cool location and vibe. Great waitstaff. Disappointed by my martini as my 1st had olives with pits. The up glasses are also a bit smaller that I would expect somewhere that feels like a martini place. My wife loved the cod and finished every bit. It seemed odd to me that the table bread (4 rolls) were a $9 option. Tasty enough but I don't think I'd order them again. Chips (homemade) and french onion dip were another option that seems out of place here. My steak fritte was well prepared and very tasty. We enjoyed our experience but expected more at this price level. We will go back as they are new and sometimes everything isn't perfect at the beginning. The roof deck seems a cool and inviting spot. Will definitely try that for cocktails...

We had such a nice evening. This place is terrific. I had halibut and loved it. Husband had meat pie or something like that. He enjoyed it. Apps and desserts were great. I recommend highly. Oh- and our waitperson was great, too.

Service was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful staff!! The peach salad dressing was very good and unusual. Grilled peaches a little hard. Maybe past season? Pork dish was excellent. Breakfasts were delicious. All homemade baked goods, fresh berries, homemade granola. Again staff was outstanding! Kudos to Scott, Rubin and Renee.

Attention to service is needed…..don’t serve an entre when the appetizer is still being enjoyed. Entree was ‘held’, so it was cold…all 4 guest, same problem. 2nd visit….Same problem with first visit. Cold food. Kitchen on lower level….not on same schedule with dining room.

We wanted to experience this new restaurant to our area. The interior design and ambiance was great and lived up to my expectations. But the food especially for the cost was just average. The steak frites were overpriced for and the presentation was OK. My wife thought the risotto was plain and had no flavor. The service, however was outstanding and we loved how pleasant the feel was. The rooftop bar was great but unfortunately, the sunset view was on the other side of the building so it wasn’t as great as I would have liked for a rooftop bar. Improve the menu and presentation and I think this place would warrant the prices. Overall, it was good to OK.

Very nice place to go for a quiet meal and conversation. Food was delicious with several locally sourced items on the menu. Halibut was fantastic and lemon meringue cake amazing. The remake of the old courthouse in the dining area and rooftop bar retains some of the original features with elegant new furnishings.

This restaurant has only been open for almost two weeks, so there are kinks to work out. Nice ambiance, very expensive food and drinks, and everything is Ala carte. $9 for 4 dinner rolls, for example. My husband ordered Rigatoni bolognese for $29. It was the smallest portion we’ve ever seen for a main entree. That’s all he had with his dinner roll. 2 glasses of wine came to $32. The rooftop bar was freezing! There were no heaters. Service was very slow as there was only one bartender. 4 drinks with tip came to $70. If the restaurant had more help and the amount of food increases or the prices decrease, we would have given a better review. Maybe adjustments will be made in time!

Roof top bar was fun for our group of 6 and there were plenty of others enjoying the last of summer evenings. Service was excellent and then we went to our table downstairs at The Court Room restaurant. Beautiful room and we enjoyed a couple of hours of wine and food. Although only opened two weeks our server was very attentive and I think the food which was good, will improve with time. All in all a fun night out in Litchfield.
