The Abbey spreads across 5 (or 6) distinct areas to suit your relaxation time: coffee, or dining inside or out, gathering for cocktails or drinking beer inside or out. There’s quieter space, and there’s community space. So I expect you to have fun. The food is delicious. The servers are friendly. You may need help finishing the Fish & chips. Parking is usually easy.

The food was great. The entire restaurant, including the bathrooms were so dirty. The food was great but swatting at fruit flies or gnats inside a restaurant is disgusting. I get the online menu but I was with someone in their 80’s that needed a menu. The server brought 3 dirty crumpled pieces of paper. The place should close down for a floor to ceiling proper disinfection it’s shameful. It used to be one of my favorite places in the city.

The crab appetizer was really tasty, and the waiter was attentive and friendly, but I was disappointed with the seafood pasta, it was just pasta in a salty watery broth instead of a sauce like it claimed. The pasta itself was very bland.

We made reservations on Fathers Day at the last minute 4:00. I had been to the abbey twice before. We were seated out on the patio which was very nice, but it started to get hot and there was no breeze coming from the ceiling fans which were blowing upwards rather than down so the air was not moving much. I wish were would have been on the other side by the fountain where it looked like there was a breeze. Our waiter was very nice. They were out of some of the items on the menu which as they have a fairly small menu kind of made our choices limited but we both got the filet and ordered the crab dip as an appetizer after all it was Fathers Day. The dip came hot and was very good. Our steaks were cooked as requested and came with mashed potatoes and green beans with a $54 price tag for each dish. The mashed potatoes were very good and the green beans were cooked perfectly for my taste. The filet was underwhelming. It didn't taste like there was any seasoning on it when it was cooked and even with the demi glaze was bland. No salt or pepper on the table either. We ordered the strawberry dessert which was delicious. I'd go back but maybe order something different next time.

Four of us for brunch on Father's Day. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks--Frittata and The Abbey Breakfast, raspberry bellinis, and Cheers to the Bees. The ambience was wonderful; a beautiful summer day sitting on the covered porch. Will definitely be back.

None of us were impressed by our meal. Lovely atmosphere and good staff. Would not come back.

Beautiful meal on the back patio. The food was delicious and the only issue was the service was a little slow and after our first round of drinks we were never offered any more. It seemed that they were encouraged to flip the tables quickly.

Your staff is excellent, so is the atmosphere, food and everything at your restaurant! One of my favorites in the city!!

Your scanner menu is the most challenging we have ever seen. It was so awful we will look for other restaurants just to avoid it.

I booked this reservation based on the reviews. We booked well ahead but was stuck at a table that was against a wall with very little elbow room. It was also near the bathrooms and the kitchen entrance. The music was very loud and we asked to have it turned down (which they did). Then, the one drink we ordered came with an unfortunate looking smudge/debris on the inside of the glass. It was replaced. The menu selection was limited and the entrees were highly priced. At another restaurant two nights before, we paid more by about $7 all in, but two of us had a glass of wine then and one had a seafood entree instead of a salad. Otherwise, the order was very similar. Perhaps it was a unique experience but for the money we will probably head somewhere else next time.
