Located on the 6th floor overlooking the Black Warrior River, our bar and kitchen menus celebrate our local roots and our love of the rich history of Tuscaloosa. The 205 is the perfect spot for celebrating date nights out, singing & dancing along to live performances at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, and toasting a Crimson Tide win with our specialty cocktails. We were not guests of the hotel but chose this restaurant based on their Restaurant week special of Shrimp and Grits. It turns out that they did not have that item available. Nice atmosphere but sun through windows was unbearable. After receiving our first drink the waitress took our order and never checked on us again. After 45 min our food arrived and some of it was cold. The restaurant wasn’t busy. We took our business somewhere else. We were excited to give 205 a try, but will not be returning.

Great view of the river & Amphitheater - that was lit up at night. Great food and friendly staff! So nice to have a reservation for our group of 6!

Terrible .waited for food over an hour. Staff had bad attitudes .Food for the value was less than desirable. Very disappointed overall

Don’t go here. They are understaffed and under poor management. The manager has no idea what she is doing and will lie to the customers. We waited for over an hour for our food and at that point they told us they were out of hamburgers. Hilton needs to reign them in. They should not take reservations if they can’t handle a crowd and solely focus on the hotel crowd.

Limited menu since it was a game day and it still took so long to get our food and the waitresses were so few and so busy that there was zero follow up to our table. I actually felt bad for the waitresses but it was a terrible experience because I guess lack of staff? It’s unfortunate because it is a sweet place to have a restaurant

Wholly unsatisfactory - we were seated for 45 minutes before we were told that there were only two people working in the kitchen and that the food would take longer than usual to come out. We watched as table after table was seated, but there was no food in sight. We finally got our food (two burgers, two chicken finger baskets - merely passable quality) after an hour and a half and only after saying we were leaving. We spoke to the manager, who had no answer for why they were seating people without any warning as to their kitchen situation. They were already running a very-limited menu and clearly couldn’t handle even that. The only reason this place can seemingly continue to exist is because it’s in a college town with extraordinarily-high demand on certain days - it would be out of business anywhere else in a week.
