The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too!

We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad.

Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.

We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).

Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.

Last orders at 3.30pm for food.

The renowned 1867 Breakfast Experience, available 7 days of the week. You can choose from the usual hearty breakfast classics, plus a few unusual breakfast twists for this time of the morning – the Breakfast Stack, for example, is just divine and enough to delight your tummy. All of our breakfast ingredients are freshly sourced as locally as possible – the sausages and bacon, in particular, are cured specifically for the 1867 guests. Complete your Breakfast Experience with our renowned COFFEE and large variety of specialist teas. If you are arranging a table for a special occasion, be sure to tell us all about it in the message box or alternatively, give our crew a call on 01327 342284. My daughter and I had lunch today.The food was lovely and the staff as usual were very attentive and pleasant. This is always my favourite place to go.. Today we were given a 10% off for our next booking, 10% off for the plant barn and 10% off for the Art gallery.

As ever an extremely tasty nicely presented lunch. Cheese and onion toastiest and a lasagne were enjoyed on our table both served with a side salad. Staff are always very welcoming despite the restaurant being really busy

We had a lovely birthday lunch today. The service was excellent, with staff making our visit enjoyable. Little touches to our table were greatly appreciated and we will visit again soon.

Had a lovely lunch with a friend. It was her birthday and there was a balloon on the table. She also received a Prosecco and a voucher, made the day really special for her.

The welcome upon entering the cafe was frosty to say the least, asking for the front door to be closed as we were cold was met with disdain and difficulties however we were eventually moved when we would not accept the offer of blankets (we were sitting inside), waiting staff were the complete opposite and very welcoming however the whole experience was ruined by the hosts mannerisms, especially disappointing as this was to cheer everyone up after a difficult period, blanked upon paying I’m assuming as she didn’t like the fact we would accept to be cold! Won’t be visiting again, however note that people who were recognised by the host were treated completely differently…….
